Aston Martin DBS Hub Lamp

Designed and hand built in London, England. 
Our Limited Edition DBS lamp is made using an obsolete 1968 Aston Martin DNS Rear Hub rescued from the luxury British marques internal supply chain.

This hub itself is a stunning piece of precision engineering and has remained unused in the Aston Martin warehouse for over half a century since before production of the 1968 -1972 model DBS ceased.
That was, until we rescued it, reimagined it and gave it new life and new utility as an rare and limited edition table lamp.

Mounted onto a reclaimed, hand cut, hand shaped & sanded walnut base (to compliment the interior of the original car) the contrast between the natural world and precision  engineering is nothing short of spectacular.

The diamond shaped bulb (supplied) perfectly matches the diamond wire “shade” – all of which creates a striking and unique conversation piece designed to enhance any public or private space.
As with our other lamps, this piece stands as a monument to the marriage of the beauty of the natural world and it's resources, automotive form and domestic function.
